How to Integrate CraftChat with Salesforce (Classic)

Hello!

We are going to instruct how to install a Salesforce package to your account.


※This instruction is for the Salesforce classic version, and this is not for the SalesforceLightning version.


What we can do if you integrate our service with your Salesforce:

You will be able to synchronize Facebook users as Lead to your salesforce from your chatbot on our service, CraftChat, if you download the package.

Additionally, we can still chase the leads if you change their status from "Lead" to "Contact.", during the conversation of Facebook users and chatbot, if they give any information like Company name, Email, Phone number, those will also automatically been updated to either Lead or Contact.

All conversation data will been add to Lead/Contact as activities.


These are ten custom fields that will be installed to your Salesforce through the package.

Theses are five steps to sync

  1. Synchronize to your Salesforce account

  2. Install Salesforce packages

  3. Add CraftChat to Lead sources

  4. Fields mapping between Lead and Contact

  5. Customize Lead page layout

Let's get started!

【Integrate to your Salesforce account】

  1. Click "account integrations" on the bot page and click "integration" of Salesforce

2. login to your Salesforce account

3. Click "Allow" to access

4. Go back to our dashboard then you will find your group has integrated with your Salesforce

The next step is going to show you how to integrate your leads information into your Salesforce

You are able to see where the user's answers to reflect in Salesforce lead information


【Install Salesforce package】

you need an install URL from CraftChat in order to install the package.

Once you click the link, the install will begin

  1. open your install URL, and choose "all users'"

  2. once install has completed, you will see the caption looks like below

Once you install the packages, you will be able to add leads information to your CraftChat.

  1. Login to Salesforce and click "Setup" in the "Sales" section at the top right corner

2. Go to the menu and click "customize" in the "build" section

3. Click "Customize your leads tab"

4. Click "Add a custom field to leads"

5. Click "Leads Source"

6. Click "New"

7. Type "CraftChat" on the blank page and "Save"

Done!


【Address leads fields】


These are steps to take all information over when you want to change the clients' status from "Lead" to "Contact"

  1. go to "Build" and then choose "Leads" →"Fields"

2. choose "Map Lead Fields" in the middle of the page

3. Click the tab "Contact" to sync to your lead field

4. in the "account executive" tab, choose the 5 items down below

・Facebook Page name

・Tag

・Lead score

・Chatbot name

・Referral


You are done to sync to leads custom fields and contact


【Customize the Lead page layout】

Last but not least, alteration of leads information

you can make a setting on how to show your leads information on your Salesforce account.

  1. Go to "Build" and choose "Customize" →"Leads"→"Page Layouts"

2. Go to "Edit"

3. Chose five items one by one and "drag and drop" to move to the information space at the bottom of the page. You can customize the information depending on your needs

4. Go back to "Sales" home and click "Leads." If you see all details that you added as step 3, you are done!

This was the last step! How was it?

You can change the layout as you like and enjoy the sync with Salesforce and chatbot!
